Set inside a museum, the film follows two Hip Hop artists dancing through an environment that is usually associated with traditional values. Their energy introduces a different dynamic, creating a contrast between the traditions of the museum and the culture of Hip Hop. In many ways, the film can be seen as a small museum takeover.

Embodied started from a simple “what if”: what changes when dancers aren’t only interpreters, but also co-authors of the story, rhythm, and cinematic language? Instead of treating movement as the final layer added on top of music or direction, Embodied flips the order. The body becomes the starting point—and the other layers listen.

There's a unique friction that happens when you bring street dance into a room full of Renaissance masterpieces. In a project curated by Camine Van Hoof, I directed a site-specific performance at Museum Mayer van den Bergh in Antwerp that lived within their permanent collection.

From October 2025 to January 2026, I worked with MAS on Universal Tongue, a major exhibition looking at how dance functions as a universal language. The project focused on the way movement travels between people, across borders, and through digital platforms, treating dance as a form of living heritage.

On 13 February 2025, I performed at KMSKA LAAT in a collaboration with Freestyles Antwerp. Dancers and musicians were brought into the galleries to react directly to the museum's collection and each others artistic expression. It was an intimate, improvised session where the goal was to make movement and sound feel like a natural part of the room.
